iPhone and iTouch apps.

Hello all!

Today I Will be giving what I believe are good and not so good buys on the app store.

Last week I bought an application called, “Galcon” for 5.99, though the price has been raised to 10.99, I have found myself on my phone playing that application for a long time. It is a wonderful strategy game where you build your troops and take other planets and try to control the galaxy one planet at a time. There are many different styles of play; classic, 3-way battle, vacuum, beast and stealth. Each with it’s own difficulty, There are ten levels of difficulty, Cabin Boy to Grand Admiral. Even though this application had rose in price, it is still a great buy.

Note: Since I have written this message, the price has gone from $10.99 to $9.99.

I recently bought an application called, “castles”, for 5.99. It was an OK buy, the application’s game is good in itself, however it is takes a very long time to build up your defenders and move them to where you want them. You pay your defends with gold, and move them with move points, you only get a certain amount of gold and move points per turn, though you can save you points and gold through out the entire game. Though it took me near 20 turns for the attacks to reach my defenders. So my final judgment for this application is a, not so good buy. It was very slow and very drawn out.
