		<description>Glad I could help. I found this bug very surprising, since they obviously know it exists, seeing as how they fixed it in the HVR-1800. I guess they were just too lazy to update the HVR-1250 support page.</description>

		<description>I would just like to say a BIG thank you for posting this solution of using the HVR-1800 beta drivers.  I have had the 1250 for around six months and it's been stuttering from the start.  Ironically, whenever I installed the card, I also upgraded my RAM to 4GB to try and offset the fact that there is no hardware MPEG2 decoder.  None of the documentation, nor the support calls to Hauppauge told me of the 4GB bug.  I was convinced the problem was with WinTV (which is just a big steaming pile of crap to begin with).

Sadly it looks like I'll need to reinstall Vista from the abuse its taken from removing/reinstalling various versions of WinTV and other PVR software.  But at least I know this works now!
